4 Seasons, 4 Styles: Oversized Top
Not much in life beats a top that will work with you four (count them...F-O-U-R) seasons of the year. Am I right?! The key: fabric, color, and fit that effortlessly layers over, under, or is dreamy simply by itself!
Recently I added the Rowen Textured Top to my wardrobe and I was immediately inspired to figure out just one way I could style this cutie in every season of the year. Truthfully, t was hard to choose just ONE styling idea for each season but I forced myself to comply to my own styling game and I'm so pleased with my final choices
I hope this inspires you to look through your closet and get creative! No need to pack everything away when seasons change. Enjoy some of your favorites throughout the year!
Spring:
A lightweight, oversized top screams seasonal transition piece, if you ask me. I can't get enough of the Rowan with a relaxed fitting knit pant and some easy clogs. This look is good whether you're lounging at home, heading out to brunch with your best gals, or hitting an anniversary dinner with your main squeeze. Comfort *may not* have ever looked cuter. For a special day out, add the Canyon Wide Brim Hat for extra style.
Summer:
If you're anything like me, even in the heat of summer you heart a lightweight layer for indoors or even outdoors on a cool night. Pair the Rowan with your favorite shorts and oh. sweet. summertime. Might I suggest something like a linen or chambray bottom for extra comfort? If you want to leave the house in this little number, add some cute sandals, a dressy necklace, a leather bag like the Cece and call it cute. Gracious who doesn't love something this comfy and cute.
Fall:
I love pairing unexpected basics. And in this case, why not put the Kelly Pocket Hoodie under the Rowan for just enough warmth in the fall temps? You can even tie her up for a different silhouette. And if you really wanted, you could add a cozy jacket over this set! This is called making your basics work for you. And we need our wardrobe to work *for* us instead of *against* us, amen? Add your favorite cozy denim and you're more than ready for fall.
Winter:
The amazing thing about a top like the Rowan (there are many, but I'll just keep it to this one) is that you can layer over or under. I decided to add a little color and pattern to a winter look by topping the Rowan off with a plaid top and some easy black jeans like my Brenners. Lastly, add some boots and a little crossbody clutch and winter has got nothing on you. Plus, when you come inside from the bitter temps, you can easily take off your outer layers and stay cozy with this gal.
Get to styling, sis! A closet full of basics gives you options galore. Which means less brainwork, more fun.
xx,
Crystal
